What has the EU done for you in 2008?
Cosa ha fatto l’UE per te nel 2008?
The European Commission launched its annual multimedia yearbook presenting some of the European Union’s most important achievements of 2008.
La Commissione europea ha pubblicato il suo annuario multimediale in cui illustra alcune delle maggiori realizzazioni dell’Unione europea nel 2008.
The yearbook provides a collection of success stories where EU action has led to tangible results for citizens, with topics ranging from toy safety to mitigating the effects of the financial crisis.
L’annuario presenta tutta una serie di iniziative dell’UE che hanno comportato risultati tangibili per i cittadini in ambiti che vanno dalla sicurezza dei giocattoli al contenimento degli effetti della crisi finanziaria.
“The examples in the yearbook clearly demonstrate that the EU produces positive and visible results in our daily lives as consumers, travellers and workers”, said Vice-President Margot Wallström, responsible for Institutional Relations and Communication Strategy.
“Gli esempi illustrati nell’annuario dimostrano chiaramente che l’UE produce risultati positivi e visibili nelle nostre vite quotidiane di consumatori, viaggiatori e lavoratori” ha affermato il Vicepresidente Margot Wallström, responsabile per le relazioni istituzionali e la strategia di comunicazione.

The multimedia format ensures that citizens can also access the brochure online, where each text is further illustrated with a short video clip on the topic.
Il formato multimediale assicura che i cittadini possano accedere all’opuscolo anche on line: su Internet ciascun testo è ulteriormente corredato di un breve video clip sull’argomento.
