2	The EU’s environmental policy is integrated across its main policy areas.	La politica ambientale dell’UE è presente in modo integrato in tutti i principali settori d’intervento dell’UE.
3	The vast majority of EU funding for the environment is delivered as part of the EU’s main spending policies, such as the structural funds and the common agricultural policy.	La grande maggioranza dei fondi UE per l’ambiente è quindi erogata come parte della spesa per le principali politiche, come i fondi strutturali e la politica agricola comune.
4	LIFE (L’Instrument Financier pour l’Environnement) is an additional financial instrument supporting environmental and nature conservation projects throughout the EU.	LIFE (L’Instrument Financier pour l’Environnement) è uno strumento finanziario aggiuntivo che sostiene progetti ambientali e di conservazione della natura in tutta l’UE.
5	It is managed directly by the Commission.	Esso è gestito direttamente dalla Commissione.
6	The current LIFE programme has an average annual budget of € 239 million.	Il programma LIFE attuale dispone di una dotazione finanziaria annua media di 239 milioni di euro.
7	The EU Auditors audited the Commission’s relevant services and five Member States from among the largest beneficiaries of LIFE (Germany, Spain, France, Italy and the United Kingdom), representing 55 % of the LIFE budget and 15 % of its projects.	Gli auditor della Corte hanno controllato i competenti servizi della Commissione e cinque Stati membri che erano tra i maggiori beneficiari di LIFE (Germania, Spagna, Francia, Italia e Regno Unito) e rappresentavano il 55 % della dotazione finanziaria ed il 15 % dei progetti di LIFE.
8	The main conclusions and recommendations of the report will be presented to the press by Mr Jan Kinšt (CZ) the Member of the Court responsible for the report.	Le principali conclusioni e raccomandazioni della relazione saranno presentate alla stampa da Jan Kinšt (CZ), il Membro della Corte responsabile della relazione.
