Under the CAP, EU rural development policy grants are made available to enterprises that process and market agricultural products through a measure called ‘Adding value to agricultural and forestry products’ that aims to improve the competitiveness of agriculture and forestry.
|
Nell’ambito della PAC, le imprese che lavorano e commercializzano i prodotti agricoli possono accedere a sovvenzioni erogate nel quadro della politica di sviluppo rurale dell’UE tramite una misura detta “Accrescimento del valore aggiunto dei prodotti agricoli e forestali”, che mira a migliorare la competitività del settore agricolo e forestale.

The EU budget has earmarked € 5.6 billion in aid for 2007-2013.

This special report is entitled “Has the EU support to the food-processing industry been effective and efficient in adding value to agricultural products?” The ECA examined whether the measure was designed and implemented in a way that provided for the efficient funding of projects addressing clearly identified needs and whether the measure was monitored and evaluated in a way that allowed its results to be demonstrated.

In questa relazione speciale, intitolata “Il sostegno finanziario dell’UE all’industria di trasformazione alimentare è stato efficace ed efficiente nell’aggiungere valore ai prodotti agricoli?”, la Corte dei conti europea ha verificato se la misura di cui sopra sia stata concepita ed attuata in modo da consentire l’efficiente finanziamento di progetti che soddisfino bisogni chiaramente identificati; e se detta misura sia monitorata e valutata in maniera tale da consentire di dimostrarne i risultati.
