I mutui verranno convertiti nella nuova valuta il giorno di uscita dall’euro;
Mortgages will be converted into the new currency the day we exit the Euro.
per chi ha il tasso variabile questo rimarrà comunque legato all’euribor e quindi stabile.
For anyone with a variable interest rate, this will still remain linked to the Euribor and thus it will remain stable.
Sul fronte dei mutui gli italiani ne beneficeranno.
In relation to mortgages, Italians will benefit.
2) Inflazione
2) Inflation
Se pensiamo che i beni (casa, macchina, telefono) che vogliamo comprare scenderanno di prezzo non spendiamo e l’economia si ferma.
Just think that the goods (home, car, telephone) that we want to buy will come down in price. If we don’t spend, the economy stagnates.
Questo è quello che succede oggi con la deflazione.
This is what is happening today with deflation.
Un po’ di inflazione è quindi necessaria a far girare l’economia.
A low level of inflation is thus necessary to keep the economy going.
Dall’altro lato non deve essere troppo alta per non svalutare la nostra capacità di spesa.
On the other hand, it mustn’t be too high to avoid devaluing our ability to spend.
Questo non succederà perchè i prodotti italiani diventeranno più competitivi rispetto agli esteri e i prodotti che siamo obbligati a importare dall’estero (es.petrolio) hanno un impatto limitato sul prezzo finale:
This won’t happen because Italian products will become more competitive than foreign products and the products that we are obliged to import from abroad (for example:crude oil) have a limited impact on the final price :

la stessa cosa potrà fare dopo l’uscita dall’euro tenendo conti in dollari, euro, sterline, franchi e nuova valuta.
You will still be able to do that after the exit from the Euro. So you could have dollars, Euro, pounds sterling, francs or a new currency.

4) Government bonds
I titoli di Stato italiani saranno convertiti per il 95% nella nuova valuta (dato che per il 95% sono emessi sotto legislazione italiana e per cui ereditano la valuta nazionale).
95% of Italian State bonds will be converted into the new currency (given that 95% are issued in accordance with Italian legislation and so they would inherit the national currency).
Lo Stato li pagherà e li emetterà nella nuova valuta.
The State will pay out on them and will issue them in the new currency.
Visti i bassi rendimenti e l’alto rischio già oggi i titoli di Stato italiano non sono convenienti per il cittadino italiano.
Given the low yields and the high risk that we already see right now, Italian State bonds are not a good buy for an Italian citizen.
5) Passaggio dall’euro alla lira
5) Transition from the Euro to the lira
Il cambio probabilmente sarà 1 a 1 con la nuova valuta che poi si svaluterà un po’.
There’ll probably be a 1 to 1 conversion with the new currency and it will then probably devalue a bit.
L’effetto sui prezzi farà si che da subito probabilmente rimarranno uguali a quelli che vediamo oggi semplicemente denominati nella nuova valuta.
The effect on prices will probably be that they stay the same as today but they will be given in the new currency.
6) Aumento della benzina
6) Increase in the price of petrol
La benzina è un falso problema in quanto la maggior parte del suo costo (64%) è dovuta alla tassazione.
The price of petrol is a false problem as most of the price (64%) is paid in taxes.
Le quotazioni internazionali del greggio e il rapporto di cambio incide solo sul 26% del prezzo.
International prices of crude oil and the exchange rate only relate to 26% of the price.
Se si aggiunge che il petrolio è ai minimi storici in questo periodo non sarà sicuramente un problema l’uscita dall’euro per questo aspetto.
If we also consider that the price of crude oil is at a record low right now, an exit from the Euro will surely be no problem from this point of view.
7) Import: aumento dei prezzi dei prodotti importati
7) Imports: increase in the prices of imported products
Questo problema, che esiste in particolare sui prodotti tecnologici, può essere risolto solo investendo in innovazione dopo la distruzione di aziende come Olivetti e il ridimensionamento di Telecom Italia.
This problem, that is particularly important for technology products, can only be resolved by investing in innovation after the destruction of companies like Olivetti and the downsizing of Telecom Italia.
L’innovazione è l’unico modo per sviluppare il Paese, non certo rimanere nell’euro.
Innovation is the only way to develop the country. Staying in the Euro is not going to help.
Abbiamo storicamente sempre esportato e commerciato con i Paesi più vicini a noi, ma non perchè hanno l’euro, semplicemente perchè sono più vicini e la vicinanza geografica li rende i più facili con cui commerciare da quando c’era l’Impero romano.
Throughout history, we have exported and traded with the countries nearest to us, but not because they have the Euro, simply because they are the closest and the geographic location has made it easier to trade with them ever since the time of the Roman Empire.
Al contrario le esportazioni verso l’area euro sono in continua decrescita da quando abbiamo l’euro.
However, the value of exports going into the countries using the Euro, has been going down ever since we joined the Euro.
Solo nel 2007 erano quasi il 60%, oggi meno del 50%.
Just in 2007, those accounted for 60%, and today that’s now down to less than 50%.
Le uniche aree in crescita per le nostre esportazioni sono quelle fuori dalla zona euro come evidenziato da studi sull’export italiano:
The only areas where the value of our exports is growing is outside the Euro zone as can be seen from research into Italian exports:
“i mercati emergenti rappresentano attualmente la quota maggiore delle esportazioni, mentre la rilevanza dell’area euro si è notevolmente ridotta”.
