A questa regola non potevano mancare i finanziamenti all’editoria passati dai 137 milioni di euro del 2013 ai 175 del 2014.

Il terzo quotidiano in classifica per accesso alla greppia dei soldi pubblici nel 2012 è stato L’Unità con 3.615.894 di euro.

L’Unità, o Nuova Iniziativa Editoriale s.p.a., disponeva nel 2012 di 85 dipendenti di cui 1 dirigente, 23 impiegati e 61 giornalisti (2,6 giornalisti per impiegato).

La media vendite del 2012 sul 2011 è diminuita del 19% con una perdita di 7.529 copie, passando da 38.656 a 31.127.

Anno su anno i ricavi delle vendite e delle prestazioni sono scesi a 12.023.088 euro rispetto a 15.189.629.

La perdita, a livello di risultato netto dopo le imposte, nonostante i generosi finanziamenti pubblici, è stata di 4.637.124.

La pronta risposta dell’Unità si chiama “PD Kiosk” “rispetto alla quale è già stato concluso un accordo triennale con minimo garantito da parte del PD (con che soldi? quelli dei finanziamenti pubblici? ndr), e sono allo stato dei fatti in corso trattative con Coop, CGIL, Unipol ed altri importanti players d’area che potranno mutuare la versione dell’hub, originalmente pensata per i tesserati del Partito Democratico”.
