UNITED-NUKE

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

UNITED-NUKE is a free, open source content management system written with PHP for publishing content on the world wide web and intranets using a database including MySQL, DB2, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Microsoft Access via ODBC and SQLite.

UNITED-NUKE will run on any platform that PHP will run on, including the Apache and IIS webservers.

History

The development of UNITED-NUKE started Jiri Stavinoha at the beginning of 2004. It happened about two years later, during he was working on special czech localized version of PHP-Nuke. The main goal was to develop full compatible but reliable CMS without well known lacks such as security holes like SQL injection and XSS, slow speed or absence in possibilities of localization. For this reasons, the complete security audit and complete revision of PHP-Nuke source codes have been made which result in modifications of API, modules and integrated add-ons trying to suppress these lacks in UNITED-NUKE.

UNITED-NUKE is currently one of the most commonly used CMS on czech and slovak websites.
