I politologi ipotizzano da anni che il prossimo conflitto mondiale, se ci sarà (molti ne sono certi), vedrà il confronto tra Cina e USA, le due superpotenze di questo secolo.
For years the political sociologists have been suggesting that the next world war, if it happens, (and many are certain it will) will be a clash between China and the USA, this century’s two super-powers.
La prima in ascesa, la seconda in declino.
The former on its way up and the latter on its way down.
Una guerra per le risorse, non ideologica.
A war for resources, not an ideological war.
Un confronto già in atto per l’energia, dove la Cina ha raggiunto il primato mondiale dei consumi e da due anni è il primo importatore di petrolio dall’Arabia Saudita, superando gli Stati Uniti.
