Il 22 gennaio scorso abbiamo chiesto a Renzi una rosa di nomi da poter sottoporre ai nostri iscritti.
On 22 January we asked Renzi for a list of potential candidates so that we could put these names to our signed up members.
Non si è degnato di rispondere.
He didn’t deign to respond.
Neppure ha risposto ad una Piazza del Popolo gremita che chiedeva il rispetto dello spirito dei nostri padri costituenti.
Nor did he respond when he was asked to do this by the crowds packing out Piazza del Popolo – crowds asking him to respect the spirit of the men who drew up our Constitution.

Abbiamo offerto ai parlamentari del PD un percorso lineare e trasparente per arrivare ad un nome condiviso.
We offered the PD parliamentarians a straight-forward and transparent route for coming up with a candidate that we could all back.
