Il Governo prende di mira le banche popolari, che verranno addirittura cancellate per decreto e gettate in pasto ai grandi gruppi internazionali.
The Government is taking aim at the popular banks, that will be eliminated and thrown to the wolves of the big international groups.
Si tratta di istituti radicati sul territorio, fondati sul pluralismo della proprietà, che rappresentano l’unica fonte di credito per famiglie e imprese.
These are banks with their roots in the local areas, founded on the idea of pluralism of ownership, providing the only source of credit for families and small businesses.
Invece di imporre alle grandi banche di restituire all’economia reale i miliardi di euro ricevuti in regalo dalla Bce, il premier succube dei poteri forti vuole imporre il modello Spa per tutti gli istituti di credito.
Instead of insisting that the big banks pay back into the real economy the billions of euro received as a gift from the ECB, the premier is bowing to the will of the powerful and is obliging all these financial institutions to become joint-stock companies.
