Antonio Di Pietro ha commesso degli errori, ha inserito nel suo partito persone impresentabili come De Gregorio e Scilipoti.

Ha evitato, per scelte forse tattiche, prese di posizioni nette sulla Tav e sul G8.
Perhaps for tactical reasons, he has avoided taking a clear stand on issues like the TAV high speed train line and on the G8.
Ma lui soltanto in Parlamento ha combattuto il berlusconismo.
But he is the only one in parliament who has been fighting berlusconism.
Lo ha fatto con armi spuntate, con una truppa abborracciata tenuta insieme unicamente dalla sua testardaggine e caparbietà.
He has done this with guns blazing, with a hotch-potch group kept together just because of his stubbornness and obstinancy.

Però, in questi lunghi anni di inciucio tra il Pdl e il Pdmenoelle, senza di lui, in Parlamento si sarebbe spenta anche l’unica flebile luce rimasta accesa.

Può essere che Tonino abbia lanciato dei referendum pro domo sua, ma se abbiamo potuto votare contro il nucleare di Casini, Bossi, Fini e Berlusconi lo dobbiamo a lui che ha raccolto e validato le firme necessarie.

Il mio auspicio è che il prossimo presidente della Repubblica sia Antonio Di Pietro, l’unico che ha tenuto la schiena dritta in un Parlamento di pigmei.
My hope is that the next President of the Republic is Antonio Di Pietro, the only one who has kept a straight back in a Parliament of pygmies.
