European nuclear referendum
La Merkel ha dichiarato che “Più presto la Germania uscirà dal nucleare meglio sarà”.
Ms Merkel has declared that “The sooner Germany exits from the nuclear programme the better”.
La Germania ha 17 reattori che saranno spenti con un anticipo di nove anni, nel 2026 e non più nel 2035 come previsto prima di Fukushima.
Germany has 17 reactors that will be turned off nine years early, in 2026 and no longer in 2035 as was the plan before Fukushima.
Nei prossimi tre mesi tutte le centrali tedesche saranno controllate con uno “stress test” e sette reattori saranno spenti per manutenzione e uno definitivamente.
In the next three months, all the German power stations will be subjected to a “stress test” and seven reactors will be turned off for maintenance and one definitively.
Altri cinque saranno disattivati in maggio per controlli.
Another five will be deactivated in May for checking.
Se la matematica non è un’opinione, come vorrebbero i nuclearisti (a proposito qualcuno sta ancora blaterando sul nucleare sicuro di “nuovissima” generazione?), la Germania entro l’estate, una potenza economica mondiale, disporrà solo di 4 reattori (17 – 8 – 5 = 4).

Un reattore EPR è in costruzione in Normandia, il secondo dopo quello finlandese di Olkiluoto che ha come partner l’Enel al 12,5% degli investimenti e che ha già raddoppiato i costi e i tempi di costruzione.
An EPR reactor is under construction in Normandy, the second after the one in Finland at Olkiluoto that has Enel as a partner with 12.5% of the investment. It has doubled the costs and the time to construct.
La Francia ha un modello di sviluppo basato sull’energia nucleare, sul nucleare bellico strettamente connesso a quello civile, un modello mantenuto in vita grazie alle tasse dei francesi e all’approvvigionamento dell’uranio dal Niger da parte della società statale Areva (vedi Greenpeace “L’uranio di Areva sta uccidendo il Niger”).
France has a development model based on nuclear energy, on a nuclear war programme that is closely connected to the civil one, a model kept alive thanks to the taxes of the French people and the supply of Uranium from Niger by the State company Areva (see Greenpeace “AREVA’S dirty little secret”).
