Per conoscere il nostro futuro è sufficiente osservare ciò che avviene all’ombra del Partenone, in piazza Syntagma, dove da giorni si fronteggiano la polizia e i cittadini greci.
To know what our future will be like it’s enough to observe what’s happening in the shadow of the Parthenon, in Syntagma Square, where for days there’s been a confrontation between the police and the citizens of Greece.

Il primo ministro greco Papandreou ribadirà la prossima settimana il suo piano di “riforme” per ottenere un nuovo prestito internazionale.
Papandreou, the Prime Minister of Greece, will next week re-emphasise his plan for “reforms” to get a new international loan.

Le riforme in questione sono le solite di fronte al fallimento.
The reforms are the usual ones in the face of collapse.
