Filippo Penati deve risarcire gli abitanti della Provincia di Milano di 176 milioni di euro.
Filippo Penati has to pay back the 176 million euro to the inhabitants of the Province of Milan.

Quelli che sono stati sottratti di fatto alla finanza pubblica con l’acquisto delle azioni della Milano – Serravalle da Marcello Gavio, mancato nel 2009.
The money that was in fact taken from public financing with the purchase of the shares for the Milano – Serravalle stretch of motorway from Marcello Gavio who died in 2009.

Il valore attribuito alle azioni da Penati, da vero amico del giaguaro (“non siamo mica qui a smacchiare la pelle del giaguaro” direbbe Bersani) fu di 8,93 euro per un totale di 238 milioni.
The value attributed to the shares by Penati, by the true friend of the jaguar (“don’t think that we are here to take the spots off the jaguar” is what Bersani would say) was 8.93 euro for a total of 238 million.

Gavio le aveva acquistate per 2,9 euro qualche mese prima.
Gavio had bought the shares for 2.9 euro a few months earlier.

Non si è mai vista una autostrada triplicare il suo valore in così breve tempo.
No one has ever seen a motorway tripling its value in such a short time.

Motivi per comprare le azioni non esistevano.
There was no reason to buy the motorway.

Qui i casi sono due:
Here there are two possibilities:

o Penati è uno sprovveduto che regala i soldi dei contribuenti in modo inconsapevole o ha fatto un favore a qualcuno.
either Penati is a naive person who gives away taxpayers’ money in an unknowing way or he did someone a favour.

Penati incontrò Gavio in un albergo di Roma, non negli uffici della Provincia, come avrebbe dovuto, grazie a Bersani.
Penati met Gavio in a Rome hotel, not in the offices of the Province, as he should have done, thanks to Bersani.

Penati è stato il braccio destro di Bersani, quello sinistro è Pronzato, esperto del settore trasporti e finito in carcere.
Penati was Bersani’s right hand man, whereas the left hand man is Pronzato, an expert on the transport sector who ended up in prison.

Tutto si può dire di Bersani, ma non che non sia un gran lavoratore con due braccia così!
It’s possible to say anything about Bersani, but not that he is not a hard worker with two arms like that!

Ora Bersani ha annunciato una class action contro i giornali che diffamano il pdmenoelle.
Now Bersani has announced a class action against the newspapers who defame the PDminusL.

E’ veramente il mondo all’incontrario.

Sono i cittadini che dovrebbero fare una class action contro il pdmenoelle per farsi restituire il malloppo.

La provincia di Milano ha 3.161.000 abitanti.
The province of Milan has 3,161,000 inhabitants.

A ognuno di loro, neonati compresi, sono stati sottratti 55 euro per darli a Gavio.
From each one of them, including the new born babies, 55 euro a head has been taken away to give to Gavio.

Se Penati non dispone di 176 milioni per rifondere i lombardi, li deve tirare fuori il pdmenoelle.

Il pdmenoelle ha intascato qualche centinaia di milioni come finanziamenti elettorali spacciati come rimborsi.
The PDminusL has pocketed a few hundred million in election financing under the guise of reimbursement of expenses.

Sarebbe un bel gesto se ne usasse una parte per la Provincia di Milano.
