I giornalisti italiani si suddividono in tre categorie:
Italian journalists can be divided into three groups:
gli indipendenti (pochi, eroici e spesso emarginati), gli schiavi (tantissimi, sfruttati e pagati 5/10/20 euro a pezzo) e i Grandi Trombettieri del Sistema, nominati in posizioni di comando dai partiti e dalle lobby (direttori di testata, caporedattori, grandi firme, intellettuali per meriti sul campo).

Sabato scorso a Parma tecnici e esperti hanno discusso per ore di inceneritori, dei danni alla salute, della loro assoluta inutilità, di rifiuti zero, dei tre miliardi di debiti di Iren, società quotata in Borsa e posseduta in maggioranza dai Comuni targati pdmenoelle.
Last Saturday in Parma, technical people and experts spent hours discussing incinerators, how they are harmful to health, how they are absolutely useless, talking about zero refuse, about Iren’s three billion euros of debt, Iren, the company that is quoted on the Stock Exchange, and that sees a majority shareholding in the hands of the municipalities led by the PDminusL.

None of this has got through to the news.
La piazza vuota, semi vuota, quasi piena è stato l’unico argomento di interesse (in piazza della Pace erano presenti 3.000 persone e decine di migliaia erano collegate in streaming).
Whether the square was empty, half empty or almost full was the only interesting topic (in the piazza della Pace there were 3,000 people present and tens of thousands were connected in live streaming).

Siamo manipolati dai partiti, dalle banche e dalle industrie che, attraverso i media, stravolgono la realtà.
We are being manipulated by the parties, the banks and by industry and these use the media to distort reality.
L’Italia è un’Isola dei Famosi, un reality show di sessanta milioni di persone che ascoltano favole, racconti fantastici in dosi così massicce e da così lungo tempo da aver trasformato il Paese in un gigantesco Truman Show in cui la verità è menzogna e la menzogna è verità.
Italy is a “Celebrity Survivor”, a reality show of sixty million people that listen to fairy stories, and fantastic tales in such massive doses and since so long ago, that they have transformed the country into a gigantic Truman Show in which truth is a lie and a lie is the truth.
Più il Sistema si decompone, più i media ne diventano l’ultimo feroce baluardo (dopo infatti non c’è più alcuna difesa) perdendo ogni ritegno e vergogna.
The more the system decomposes, the more the media becomes the last ferocious rampart (in fact after that, there is no further line of defence) losing every scrap of restraint and shame.
Gli attacchi al MoVimento 5 Stelle sono diventati parossistici, quotidiani, bipartisan, falsi, con notizie inventate di sana pianta, diffamatori verso chi non ha mai governato, rubato, che non candida condannati, non vuole poltrone o rimborsi elettorali.
The attacks on the MoVimento 5 Stelle {5 Star MoVement} have become paroxysmal, daily, bipartisan, false, with news items that are just made up, defamatory towards those who have never been in government, have not stolen, are not putting forward candidates with a criminal record, who don’t want armchairs or the reimbursement of election expenses.
Il gioco al massacro è così chiaro, evidente da essere diventato imbarazzante, paradossale, quasi comico per chi lo pratica.
The character assassination is so clear and obvious that it has become embarrassing, paradoxical almost comical for those who are carrying it out.
Vorremmo però sapere qualche cosa di più su chi ci informa.
However, we would like to know a few more things about those who are keeping us informed.
Una questione di reciprocità.
A matter of reciprocity.
Il perché talvolta non riportano i fatti, se sono costretti o se è una loro attitudine.
The reason why at times they are not reporting the facts, whether it is because the are obliged to behave like that or whether it’s their own approach.
Vorremmo sapere quali direttive ricevono da parte dei loro giornali o telegiornali.
We would like to know what instructions they receive from their newspapers or their TV News channels.
Perché fanno le domande che fanno (talvolta tendenziose per dimostrare una tesi a priori).
Why do they ask the questions they ask (at times these are leading questions to give an a priori vision of an hypothesis).
Vorremmo conoscerli più da vicino: i loro nomi, il loro curriculum, i loro pensieri.
We would like to get to know them better: their names, their past careers, their thinking.
Vorremmo sapere qual è il loro stipendio, se sono trattati da schiavi nonostante le testate per cui lavorano prendono rimborsi pubblici.
We would like to know what salary they get and whether they are treated like slaves in spite of the fact that the publications they work for get public financing.
Intervistiamo i giornalisti che si presentano agli incontri pubblici e alle manifestazioni e pubblichiamo i video su Youtube.
Let’s interview the journalists that come forward and that come to meetings and demonstrations and let’s publish the videos on Youtube.
Lo faranno volentieri per salvaguardare il diritto all’informazione.
They will be more than willing in order to safeguard the right to information.
