The Republic is dead
Ieri sera mi si è stretto il cuore.
Yesterday evening I was upset.
Vedere Alessandra Amoroso cantare l’inno d’Italia sommersa dai fischi in uno stadio sequestrato dagli ultrà con la Polizia impotente e i politici in tribuna d’onore, gente del calibro di Renzie.
There was Alessandra Amoroso singing Italy’s national anthem drowned out by whistling in a stadium taken over by the extremists and the Police were powerless and with the politicians in the distinguished visitors’ gallery, people of the calibre of Renzie.
La Repubblica è morta, ma i suoi funerali sono indegni, troppo imbarazzanti.

I politici sono stati tra i primi a scappare, amorevolmente scortati nelle loro auto blu, quelle non ancora vendute su Ebay (per ora ben sei!) dall’Ebetino incazzato nero per la Partita del cuore.
