The 5 Star MoVement is denouncing Alfano and Marino
Dopo il funerale di Vittorio Casamonica, il Movimento 5 Stelle denuncerà il ministro Angelino Alfano e il sindaco di Roma Ignazio Marino per chiedere loro il risarcimento per i danni di immagine, decoro e reputazione subiti a livello nazionale e internazionale.
After Vittorio Casamonica’s funeral, the 5 Star MoVement will denounce Angelino Alfano, and the mayor of Rome, Ignazio Marino, and will ask them to pay compensation for the damage done to Rome’s image, dignity and reputation at a national and international level.
“Con il funerale show di Vittorio Casamonica l’immagine di Roma e dell’Italia sono irrimediabilmente compromesse, sfregiate e umiliate dall’ennesima manifestazione palese e arrogante della presenza della Mafia nella Capitale.
“With Vittorio Casamonica’s “funeral show”, the image of Rome and the image of Italy are irreparably compromised, scarred and humiliated by the umpteenth blatant and arrogant demonstration of the presence of the Mafia in the capital.
Una presenza, quella della Mafia a Roma, di cui tutti sapevano, specie dopo tutto il marciume portato a galla dall’inchiesta Mafia Capitale.
Everyone knew about the presence of the Mafia in Rome, especially after all the disgusting information was revealed in the investigation called “Mafia Capitale”.
>>> Tutti sapevano, tranne evidentemente il sindaco Marino e il ministro Alfano, che avrebbero dovuto – proprio alla luce di tutto ciò che è emerso negli ultimi mesi – vigilare, tenere alta la guardia e l’attenzione.
Everyone knew, except it seems the mayor of Rome, Marino, and the Minister, Alfano, who should have known – in the light of everything that has been discovered in the
last few months – and they should be the ones watching out and paying attention.
Eppure nulla di tutto ciò è successo e la loro superficialità, incompetenza e inerzia hanno permesso che Roma fosse nuovamente calpestata, che diventasse terra di nessuno e zimbello dei quotidiani stranieri che ci guardano increduli e schifati.
And yet none of that was happening and their superficiality, incompetence and inertia have made it possible for Rome to be downtrodden once more, and become the land of no one, and a laughing stock for foreign newspapers who look at us with incredulity and disgust.
Ignazio Marino, sindaco di una Capitale che non ha mai governato, non sa, non sente, non parla, ignora ciò che accade nella sua città.
Ignazio Marino, the mayor of a capital that he has never governed, doesn’t know, doesn’t hear, doesn’t talk, and ignores what has been happening in his city.
L’unica cosa che sa fare è indignarsi sempre a scoppio ritardato, quando ormai tutto è successo in barba a Questura, Prefettura, istituzioni inermi e assenti.
The only thing he knows how to do is to blow up like a time bomb when it is too late, when everything has already happened in spite of the Police, the Prefecture and the unprepared and absent institutions.
Eppure tutti sapevano:
And yet everyone knew.
c’erano le auto dei vigili urbani a seguire il corteo funebre, le forze dell’ordine avevano notificato il permesso per partecipare al funerale ai parenti di Casamonica agli arresti domiciliari.
There were the cars of the local police following the funeral procession, the security forces had given notification of the permission given to members of the Casamonica family under house arrest, to take part in the funeral.
Il corteo funebre, con tanto di carrozza ed elicottero, dunque, poteva essere fermato.
Thus the funeral procession, including carriages and a helicopter, could have been halted.
Oltre all’umiliazione, ora i romani e i cittadini devono subire anche la beffa del rimpallo di responsabilità tra le anime belle che oggi dicono “non sapevo”.
Now the people of Rome and the people of Italy are not only suffering the humiliation, but there are also having to put up with the joke of the different folk who are now saying “oh – I didn’t know!”.
Le responsabilità invece sono chiarissime:
However, the responsibilities are clear.
sono del sindaco Marino e del ministro Alfano;
Mayor Marino and Minister Alfano are responsible.
persone che dovrebbero contribuire a estirpare la Mafia da Roma e garantire la sicurezza della città;
They should have contributed to getting the Mafia out of Rome and guaranteeing the security of the city.
ma che non sono capaci nemmeno di impedire un fenomeno da baraccone come il funerale di Vittorio Casamonica.
But they have not even been able to prevent a freak show like Vittorio Casamonica’s funeral.
E le responsabilità sono anche del Presidente del Consiglio che per opportunismo politico si rifiuta di sciogliere per Mafia il comune di Roma;
And the President of the Council is also responsible because he has refused to dissolve the cabinet governing Rome due to mafia involvement.
un Presidente del consiglio – ricordiamolo – che è anche segretario di un partito che è stato letteralmente travolto dalle inchieste su Mafia Capitale e il cui presidente Matteo Orfini oggi si erge a paladino della legalità ma che a lungo ha difeso il Presidente del Municipio di Ostia Andrea Tassone poi finito agli arresti domiciliari proprio nell’ambito della stessa inchiesta;
Let us remember that he is a President of the Council who is also the secretary of a party that was literally overwhelmed by the “Mafia Capitale” investigation and whose president – Matteo Orfini – is setting himself up as a defender of the rule of law even though for a long time he was defending the president of the town of Ostia, Andrea Tassone, who then ended up under house arrest as a result of this investigation.
un presidente del Consiglio, infine, il cui ministro del Lavoro Poletti, all’epoca a capo della Legacoop, è stato immortalato durante la famosa cena proprio con uno dei componenti della famiglia dei Casamonica e Salvatore Buzzi.
We have a President of the Council whose Minister of Labour, Poletti, who at that time was the head of the cooperative called Legacoop, was immortalised during that famous dinner with a member of the Casamonica family and with Salvatore Buzzi.
Il danno alla Capitale e ai romani è enorme:
The damage to the capital and to the people of Rome is massive:
per questo valuteremo coi nostri legali se presentare una denuncia nei confronti di Alfano e Marino per chiedere loro il risarcimento per i danni di immagine, decoro e reputazione subiti a livello nazionale e internazionale.
this is why we are in discussion with our lawyers to see whether to present a denunciation against Alfano and Marino to ask that they pay compensation for the damage done to the image, dignity and reputation at a national and international level.
I milioni di euro di risarcimento che dovessero arrivare, li useremo per rifare le strade di Roma più danneggiate e tappare le buche che il sindaco non è stato in grado di rimettere a posto”.
We will use the millions of euro in compensation that should result from this action, to renew the roads in Rome that are in the worst state and to fill in the holes that the mayor has not been able to repair.”
