Non aveva scorta la collaboratrice di giustizia Lea Garofalo, uccisa a Milano dalla ‘ndrangheta e neppure Giorgio Ambrosoli.
Lea Garofalo, who was assisting judicial proceedings, had no bodyguards and she was killed in Milan by the ‘ndrangheta and not even Giorgio Ambrosoli had bodyguards.

Lo Stato li ha lasciati al loro destino.
The State left them to their destiny.

Oggi Clementina Forleo non ha la scorta, Belpietro e Fede invece si.
Today Clementina Forleo has no bodyguards, while Belpietro and Fede do.

Il Calendario dei Santi Laici 2011 cade nel 150° anniversario dell’Unità d’Italia.
The Calendar of Lay Saints 2011 comes out on the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy.

Se siamo ancora una Nazione lo dobbiamo a loro.

Per il quinto anno consecutivo il calendario dei Santi Laici ricorda i nostri caduti, dai bambini del treno 904, il treno di Natale del 1984, ad Angelo Vassallo, sindaco di Pollica, massacrato perchè proteggeva l’ambiente in cui era nato.
For the fifth consecutive year, the Calendar of Lay Saints remembers our fallen ones, from the children of the 904 train, the 1984 Christmas train, to Angelo Vassallo, mayor of Pollica, murdered because he protected the environment where he was born.

Morto perchè solo.
He died because he was alone.

Un giudice ha affermato che la Seconda Repubblica è nata su pilastri di sangue, ma quel sangue si è subito asciugato nella memoria collettiva.
