L’economia inesistente
The non-existent economy

Il valore di ogni cosa presente sul pianeta Terra non supera il 10% del denaro, dei titoli mobiliari e dei valori immobiliari.
The value of everything present on planet Earth does not go above 10% of the money, the shares and the real estate values.

In altri termini il 90% della presunta ricchezza non esiste.
In other words, 90% of the presumed wealth does not exist.

La realtà è che le nostre case valgono un quarto, le azioni delle imprese quotate un decimo, i titoli pubblici possono non valere nulla e non essere più rimborsati.
The reality is that our houses are worth a quarter, the shares of the quoted companies are worth a tenth, the public stock can be worth nothing and be no longer reimbursed.

E’ un gigantesco falò quello che sta avvenendo dal’inizio del nuovo millennio.
What has been happening since the beginning of the new millennium is a gigantic bonfire.

Un incendio di proporzioni colossali che sta bruciando la carta straccia che abbiamo stampato, era solo un’iIlusione ottica.
A fire of colossal proportions that is burning the waste paper that we have printed. It was just an optical illusion.

Polvere era e polvere diventerà.
Dust it was and unto dust it shall return.

Heaps of public debts, derivatives, currencies without value (like the American dollar), are continuously fed by governments without an idea for the future.

Una corsa folle di una macchina fuori controllo.
A mad race by an out of control car.

La crescita è la soluzione, dicono i guidatori, e premono l’acceleratore.
Growth is the solution, say the drivers, and press down on the accelerator.

Nessun organismo in natura cresce per sempre.
No organism in nature grows forever.

Vogliono stampare moneta e vendere debiti per l’eternità.
They want to print money and sell debts for eternity.

Dentro a questa macchina infernale, l’attività umana serve soltanto a spostare più in là di qualche anno la resa dei conti.
Inside this infernal machine, human activity is only of use in pushing the settling of accounts further into the future by a few years.

Il crack del pianeta.
The collapse of the planet.

Si lavora come schiavi al servizio di una ricchezza inesistente, per un sogno malato di un modello di società al tramonto.
People work like slaves at the service of a non-existent wealth for a sick dream of a model of society in its twilight years.

Si scava una buca, si riempie una buca.
A hole is dug, a hole is filled up.

Nell’estate di quest’anno l’umanità aveva già utilizzato tutte le risorse rinnovabili prodotte dalla Terra.
In the summer of this year, humanity had already used up all the renewable resources produced by the Earth.

Ci stiamo mangiando il mondo come una mela, ne rimarrà il torsolo.
We are eating up the earth like an apple, only the core is left.

Sono necessari due pianeti per sostenere questo ritmo.
Two planets are needed to keep up this rhythm.

Marte può essere la prossima frontiera del consumismo.
Mars could be the next frontier of consumerism.

La specie umana ricorda le cavallette del cosmo.
The human species reminds you of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Quando le risorse naturali non esistono inventa ricchezze virtuali.
When the natural resources don’t exist, virtual wealth is invented.

Lavoriamo al servizio del nulla.
We are working at the service of nothing.

Il motore si sta surriscaldando.
The engine is getting overheated.

I cosiddetti Bric, Brasile, Russia, India e Cina, insieme alla Turchia, il Bric mediterraneo, nel 2012 rallenteranno la loro crescita.
The so-called BRIC countries, Brazil, Russia, India and China, together with Turkey, the BRIC of the Mediterranean, will slow down their growth in 2012.

For lack of customers.

Il Nord America e l’Europa entreranno in recessione.
North America and Europe will go into recession.

La strategia della Cina per continuare a produrre è di comprare il debito dei Paesi in cui esporta.
China’s strategy to continue producing is to buy up the debt of the countries to which it exports.

In sostanza, gli anticipa i soldi per poter vendere le sue merci.
Basically, it gives money in advance in order to be able to sell its goods.

Più affondiamo, più neghiamo il problema.
The deeper we go, the more we deny the problem.

Non si può creare ciò che non esiste.
It’s not possible to create what doesn’t exist.
