Sono rimasto a bocca aperta, spalancata, come un’otaria.

Il Presidente della Repubblica, la massima carica dello Stato, a domanda sul MoVimento 5 Stelle ha risposto “Grillo, non vedo nessun boom!”.
The President of the Republic, the one holding the highest office in the State, in response to a question about the MoVimento 5 Stelle {5 Star MoVement} replied “Grillo, I’m not seeing any boom!”.
Un linguaggio “giovane” arricchito da memorabilia storiche, ha rammentato “Ricordo quello degli anni ’60, altri boom non ne vedo”.
A “young” style of speaking, enriched by historical memorabilia, he said: “I remember the boom of the 1960s, but I am not seeing other booms.

Il M5S è solo terzo ed è nato solo due anni e mezzo fa e non ha fatto boom.

Napolitano è preoccupato per il futuro e ha approfondito “Ci sono motivi di riflessione per tutti, per le forze politiche e per i cittadini sui rapporti con la politica e sui problemi di governabilità”.
Napolitano is worried about the future and he went further “There are reasons for everyone to reflect on, for the political forces and for the citizens about the relationship with politics and on the problems of governability.”
Traduzione: “I partiti (quelli che facevano boom) non se li fila più nessuno”.
Translation: “The parties (the ones that went boom) – no one cares about them anymore.
Napolitano ha poi minimizzato il voto “Abbiamo avuto un test piuttosto circoscritto, anche perchè il numero degli eletti chiamati a votare non è stato grandissimo (nove milioni e mezzo di italiani, ndr)”.
Napolitano then downplayed the vote “We have had a test that is rather limited, also because the number of voters called upon to vote was not a very great number (nine and a half million Italians, – editor).”
L’anno prossimo si terranno le elezioni politiche e, subito dopo, sarà nominato il successore di Napolitano, che potrà godersi il meritato riposo.
Next year, there’ll be the national elections and straight after that Napolitano’s successor will be appointed, so he will be able to enjoy his well-deserved repose.
Se il MoVimento 5 Stelle farà boom (come quello dei favolosi anni ’60), il prossimo presidente non sarà un’emanazione dei partiti, come la Bonino, e neppure delle banche, come Rigor Montis.
If the MoVimento 5 Stelle goes boom (as in the fabulous 1960s), the next president will not be an emanation coming from the parties, like Ms Bonino, and not even from the banks, like Rigor Montis.
