Passaparola – The strange case of the Public Prosecutor who died at midnight, by Michele Santagata
Michele Santagata è un giornalista del giornale locale La Provincia di Cosenza che sta portando avanti un’inchiesta sul PM Federico Bisceglia, morto alla mezzanotte del 1 marzo in un incidente dalle circostanze ancora da chiarire al chilometro 250 della Salerno – Reggio Calabria.
Michele Santagata is a journalist with the local newspaper called “La Provincia di Cosenza” and he is conducting an investigation on Public Prosecutor Federico Bisceglia who died at midnight on 1 March in an accident that still remains to be explained at the kilometre 250 mark on the Salerno – Reggio Calabria motorway.
Bisceglia indagava sulla Terra dei Fuochi.

L’azienda Adnkronos batte un comunicato dell’Anas che dice:
Adnkronos is busy typing out a communiqué from’Anas which says:
“Muore un giudice all’altezza del chilometro 205-700 dell’A3 carreggiata sud, circa intorno la mezzanotte”, ma due ore prima dalle colonne del mattino.it un altro giornalista lanciava la notizia di un altro incidente avvenuto sempre intorno alla mezzanotte. Si trattava dello stesso giudice.
“Judge dies at the 205-700 kilometre mark on the southbound lane of the A3 motorway sometime around midnight, but two hours earlier, from the pages of mattino.it, another journalist announced the news of another accident that also occurred around midnight in which that same judge was said to be involved.

The cause of the accident was said to be a fall from a 30-metre high viaduct.
Stiamo parlando dello strano incidente che è avvenuto al PM Federico Bisceglia e stando al comunicato dell’Anas è morto circa intorno alla mezzanotte o 10 minuti prima;
What we’re dealing with here is the strange accident involving Public Prosecutor Federico Bisceglia and according to the ANAS communiqué, he died at around midnight, give or take 10 minutes.
anche sull’orario c’è un po’ di imprecisione.
Even regarding the time there appears to be some uncertainty.

Bisceglia è morto il 28 febbraio in un incidente autostradale avvenuto sulla carreggiata A3 corsia sud e alla Salerno – Reggio Calabria.
Bisceglia actually died on 28 February in an accident that occurred on the southbound lane of the A3 Salerno – Reggio Calabria motorway.
Da subito questa prima stranezza di un comunicato che paventa una dinamica ed un comunicato ufficiale dell’Anas che ne descrive un’altra, ci ha da subito incuriosito.
Our interest was immediately raised by the inconsistency between an announcement that gives one cause while an official communiqué from ANAS gave another.
L’Anas nel suo comunicato parla di un rettilineo, di uno sbandamento con diversi testacoda e di impatti tra le due barriere laterali della carreggiata sud, per poi finire a scontrarsi con la barriera nord per poi finire in una scarpata.
In their communiqué the ANAS talks about a straight stretch of road, of a slide that included a number of spins and impact with both side barriers on the southbound lane, followed by a crash against the northbound barrier and finally landing up at the bottom of a gully.
La scena artefatta
The faked scene
Ci siamo recati sul posto per analizzare la scena dell’incidente con un esperto di sinistri e da una prima analisi si vede subito chiaro che è una scena completamente artefatta, non risponde alla dinamica che l’Anas descrive nel suo comunicato.
We went out to the scene with an accident expert in order to try to make some sense of it and from the very beginning it was patently clear that the supposed accident scene had been totally staged since it bore no resemblance to the sequence of events that ANAS describes in its communiqué.
Non vi sono tracce di impatto tra le barriere, salvo questa barriera sfondata a ridosso di una scarpata, dove non si capisce se l’auto si sia fermata o abbia continuato la sua discesa.
There are no signs of any impact between the barriers, except for the one broken barrier close to a gully, where you couldn’t work out whether the car had stopped or rather continued its descent.

La dinamica mai spiegata

Pensiamo che sia successo qualcosa quella notte, pensiamo alle strane coincidenze di un altro incidente visto da alcuni nostri testimoni.
We think that something did indeed happen that night, we think of a strange coincidence of another accident that was seen by a number of our witnesses .
Qualche ora prima della mezzanotte, qualche ora prima del presunto impatto del giudice al chilometro 205 visto nell’altra corsia, intorno alle 21.21, di cui non si trovano più tracce.
A few hours before midnight, in other words some hours before the judge’s alleged accident at the 205 kilometre mark in the other lane, around 21h21, of which there is no trace to be found.
Queste sono alcune delle stranezze di questo caso.
These are just a few of the strange things about this case.
Un’informazione confusa e contraddittoria, una dinamica che non è mai stata spiegata e non per ultimo una serie di circostanze che non tornano nella ricostruzione della giornata di quel 28 febbraio del PM Federico Bisceglia.
Confused and contradictory announcements, a sequence of events that has never been explained, and last but by no means least, a series of circumstances that simply don’t add up in the reconstruction of exactly what happened on that day, on Public Prosecutor Federico Bisceglia’s 28th February.
Non vogliamo fare necessariamente dietrologia oppure aggrapparci al complottismo per vendere qualche copia in più, non è questo che ci interessa.
We don’t necessarily want to search for ghosts or put up any conspiracy theories just to sell a few more copies because that’s not where our interest actually lies.

Come mai la Dottoressa Russolillo dice di non ricordare la dinamica perché lei dormiva in auto, salvo poi in un altro comunicato dire che 10 chilometri prima dell’impatto i due fecero una sosta?
How come Doctor Russolillo claims that she can’t remember the how the accident played out because she was asleep in the car, except to later state that the two of them had stopped for a break about 10 kilometres before the accident occurred?

Ne siamo ovviamente lieti di questo.

Sono delle incongruenze palesi e che non serve analizzarle alla lente di ingrandimento talmente sono evidenti e macroscopiche.
