Il Comune di Milano sta abbattendo alberi a iosa (ne hanno già fatto fuori più di 700 in piazza Dateo e Corso Plebisciti) perché “non compatibili” con il progetto della Metro M4 di Milano.
The city of Milan is cutting down loads of trees (they’ve already brought down more than 700 in piazza Dateo and Corso Plebisciti) because “they are not compatible” with Milan’s M4 Metro project.
Il progetto in questione non è accurato, nè definitivo.
But this project isn’t yet accurately defined and nor is it sure to happen.
Per di più è gestito dalla SPM Consulting di Stefano Perotti, arrestato neppure una settimana fa insieme ad Incalza per le tangenti sulle grandi opere.
What’s more, it’s being managed by Stefano Perotti’s company called SPM Consulting. And Stefano Perotti was arrested less than a week ago together with Ercole Incalza, accused of being involved with kickbacks related to the big public works.

Oggi inizia una battaglia civica per salvare o almeno ridurre i danni che porteranno i cantieri di M4 (la nuova linea metropolitana di Milano) ad abbattere 570 alberi.
Today sees the start of a civic battle to save the trees or at least to reduce the damage resulting from the construction sites for the M4 (Milan’s new metro line) with the removal of 570 trees.
La società che sta gestendo questi progetti esecutivi della M4 è la SPM Consulting di Perotti, arrestato pochi giorni fa con Incalza.
The company managing these M4 projects is called SPM Consulting and its general manager is Perotti, who was arrested a few days ago – together with Ercole Incalza.
Perotti era l’uomo chiave di Incalza e la SPM Consulting era quella società che ha reso possibile il far la cresta sulle opere pubbliche negli ultimi 7 anni per 25 miliardi.
Perotti was Incalza’s key man and SPM Consulting was the company that made it possible to rise in the last 7 years in the world of public works with a value of 25 billion euro.
La M4 è uno di queste.

La città di Milano rischia di perdere degli alberi per sempre a causa di progetti inaccurati.
The city of Milan is at risk of losing its trees for ever, just because of inaccurate plans.
La gran parte sono salvabili perché i progetti non sono né accurati né definitivi.
Most of them don’t have to go because we don’t yet have plans that are accurate and finalised.
Buttano giù gli alberi anche se non c’è nulla di definitivo.

La nostra richiesta è semplice:

interrompere l’abbattimento degli alberi (tanto non sarà mai pronta per Expo 2015), ridiscutere con i cittadini e limitare il numero degli alberi abbattuti, dato che a Milano ne abbiamo pochi.
stop chopping down the trees (anyway it’s not going to be finished before Expo 2015), have a new discussion with the citizens and limit the number of trees chopped down, given that we’ve only got a few trees in Milan.
Noi rimarremo qui fino a oggi pomeriggio insieme agli attivisti.
