Anti Equitalia Help points

A Cagliari abbiamo inaugurato il punto di “Soccorso Equitalia”, il primo di tanti in Italia;
In Cagliari we have started up the place to “Get help dealing with Equitalia”. This is the first of many in Italy.

al quale chiunque si senta vessato dal peso delle tasse potrà rivolgersi.
Anyone who feels oppressed by the burden of taxes can turn to one of these places.

Un luogo in cui si asciugheranno le lacrime e si donerà la giusta forza per ripartire.
A place where tears can be brushed away and people are given the strength to start again.

Abbiamo inaugurato questo primo punto d’ascolto, che abbiamo chiamato “Punto di soccorso anti-Equitalia”.
We have set up this first listening point that we’ve called an “Anti Equitalia Help point”.

They can bring the documentation and talk to activists, to real people even to professionals who are giving up their time to lend a hand.

Quella mano che lo Stato non gli dà più, la mano che lo Stato gli ha tolto, e che in realtà la usa per bastonarli.
They are lending a hand – but the State has withdrawn that hand and right now is just using that hand to beat people up.

Equitalia è un ente che vessa soltanto dei cittadini inermi, che sostanzialmente non sono gli evasori.
Equitalia is an organisation that only harasses helpless citizens, that are not the tax dodgers.

Chi è vessato da Equitalia dichiara tutto il proprio debito tributario.
Those who are harassed by Equitalia declare everything about what they owe to the tax authorities.

Non è più l’evasore fiscale;
They are not tax dodgers.

Oggi le persone semplicemente stanno dicendo ad Equitalia e allo Stato:
But today, people are simply saying to Equitalia and to the State:

“O pago te, oppure non riesco a mangiare alla fine del mese”.
“I either pay you or I don’t have anything to eat at the end of the month”.

Il M5S ha presentato nel luglio 2014 l’abolizione di Equitalia, per trasferire le competenze da questo ente all’Agenzia delle Entrate e rendere la riscossione dei tributi qualcosa di umano, non di meccanizzato come vuole Equitalia.
In July 2014, the M5S put forward the proposal to abolish Equitalia, and transfer its duties to the “Agenzia delle Entrate” {Italian Revenue Agency} and make the function of collecting taxes something with a human face, and not a mechanised procedure as Equitalia wants.

La legge 22/99 del M5S a prima firma Azzurra Cancelleri è stata però eliminata, cancellata da tutti i partiti, che hanno semplicemente deciso non di riformare Equitalia e di abolire tutti e quattro gli articoli della legge.
However the M5S’s proposed law 22/99 bearing the signature of Azzurra Cancelleri was turned down, rejected by all the parties who simply decided not to reform Equitalia and get rid of all four articles of the law.

Questa è una cosa allucinante che noi non possiamo più tollerare ed è per questo che dove non arriva lo Stato vogliamo arrivare con dei cittadini.
This is something awful and we can no longer tolerate this situation – so where the State doesn’t arrive, the M5S and the citizens want to arrive.

Cittadini che finalmente si organizzano e riescono a sostituirsi alle mancanze del governo.
Citizens who are finally getting organised and who are managing to act to make up for what the government fails to do.

Perché è nato a Cagliari?

Proprio perché è da qui che è partita la battaglia contro queste storture del sistema nei confronti dei vessati di Equitalia.
Because this is the place where the battle began – the battle against against these distortions of the system that harasses the people who are oppressed by Equitalia.

Da qui sono nati i gruppi organizzati che hanno presentato delle vere e proprie class action sia al TAR del Lazio e fatto rete con tanti altri gruppi a livello nazionale, sia anti-Equitalia che altri gruppi, civici e dal basso.
This is the birthplace of the organised groups that have put forward true class actions to the administrative court called “TAR” in Lazio and have been networking with so many other groups working at a national level and also collaborating with other civic and grass-roots groups in the fight against Equitalia.

In virtù di tutto questo proprio dalla Sardegna parte questa grande battaglia.
Because of all this, this magnificent fight is starting here in Sardinia.

I sindaci hanno trasferito le competenze di questo mostro all’ufficio dei tributi comunali.
The mayors have transferred this activity to the local tax collection offices.

Ecco, questa è una riscossione più umana del tributo, e questa è una cosa che si può fare ovunque, in ogni comune.
Here we have a human way of collecting taxes and this is something that can be done everywhere, in each town.

Noi auspichiamo che dei punti così partano da Cagliari e possano realizzarsi in tutta Italia.
We are hoping that help points like these can take their example from Cagliari and start to develop all over Italy.

Sarebbe bellissimo che l’Italia fosse invasa da “Punti di soccorso anti-Equitalia”.
It would be great if Italy were to be invaded by “Anti Equitalia Help points”.

Today, dear Equitalia, given that I am no longer isolated, but I have this great community with me, I’m absolutely certain that you will not manage to make me attempt suicide for a second time, because you’ll have to deal with this community that is defending protecting me.

E questo lo farà con tutti quelli che si trovano nelle mie stesse condizioni.
And it will do this with everyone in situations like mine.
