Domani, sabato 21 febbraio alle 15, saremo in Piazza Farnese a Roma per la manifestazione, promossa da Micromega, ‘Per la vita e contro la tortura di Stato’.
Tomorrow, Saturday 21st February, at 15h00, we will be in Piazza Farnese in Rome for the demonstration promoted by Micromega, ‘For life and against State sponsored torture’.
L’Italia dei Valori ritorna in piazza e lo fa senza bandiere, né simbolo di partito perché questa è una battaglia che non ha colore e perché mai come in questo momento è necessario fare squadra.
The Italia dei Valori party is taking to the streets again and it is doing so without any banners, nor any party symbols, because this is a battle without colour and because never before has it been as important as it is now for us to stand together.

I am still ashamed about the way in which many politicians dealt with this matter during the last few days of Eluana Englaro’s life.
E’ stato uno spettacolo poco edificante che ha offeso tutti i cittadini e, in primis, proprio Eluana e le tante persone che oggi sono nella sua stessa situazione.
It was not a very edifying spectacle, which offended all of this Country’s citizens, above all Eluana herself and the many other people that are currently in her same situation.
Anche noi domani porteremo in quella piazza la nostra testimonianza, anche noi vogliamo continuare a batterci e a lottare.
Tomorrow we will also bear witness in that square, we also want to continue to fight and battle on.
Vogliamo una legge sul testamento biologico che rispetti la libertà di coscienza e, nel caso questo non accadesse, proporremo un referendum dando ai cittadini la possibilità di scegliere.
What we want is a law regarding living wills that respects the individual’s freedom of conscience and, should this not occur, we will propose that a referendum be held in order to give the citizens an opportunity to choose.
