l Ministro Frattini dispone ulteriori aiuti umanitari alla popolazione Georgiana 
Frattini issues instructions for further humanitarian aid for the population of Georgia

In risposta alla richiesta georgiana di aiuti umanitari e su indicazioni del Ministro del Ministro degli Affari Esteri, Franco Frattini, la Farnesina ha disposto l’organizzazione di due voli umanitari per un valore di circa 460.000 euro.
In response to Georgia’s request for humanitarian aid, and acting on the instructions of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Franco Frattini, the foreign ministry is organising two humanitarian flights with aid totalling 460,000 euros.

I due voli, come segno concreto di solidarietà per le popolazioni colpite dalla crisi in atto, partiranno dalla Base di Pronto Intervento Umanitario di Brindisi con a bordo beni di prima necessità (coperte, tende, generi alimentari) destinati ad essere distribuiti in loco da personale della Direzione Generale per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo e della Croce Rossa Italiana (CRI).
The two flights, a concrete sign of solidarity for the population affected by the current crisis, will leave from the Humanitarian Rapid Response Depot in Brindisi. They will be carrying emergency supplies (blankets, tents, food) for distribution on the ground by personnel from the Directorate General for Development Cooperation and the Italian Red Cross (CRI).
