Bossi è l’erede di Giuseppe Garibaldi. Il suo vero sogno è uno stato nazionale, centralista, magari un po’ fascista. Quando racconta la storia dei Comuni pensa in realtà a Giulio Cesare e alle glorie dell’Impero Romano. Va a Pontida negli incontri pubblici, ma in privato visita i Fori Imperiali e si reca in gita a Predappio.
Bossi is Giuseppe Garibaldi’s heir. His true dream is a national state, a centralist one, perhaps even a bit fascist. When he tells the story of the “Comuni” in fact, he is thinking of Julius Cesar and the glories of the Roman Empire. He goes to Pontida for public meetings but in private he visits the Imperial Forums and he goes on outings to Predappio.

La Lega è un partito federale, ma solo in periodo elettorale. Passata la festa, gabbato il valligiano bergamasco. Bossi è più furbo di Andreotti, più calcolatore di Gelli, più panzanaro dello psiconano. Un grande Padre della Patria. Si merita una statua equestre in piazza Venezia.
The Lega is a federalist party, but only during the election campaign. Once the partying is over the man from Bergamo’s valleys is derided. Bossi is craftier than Andreotti, more calculating than Gelli, more “panzanaro” than the psycho-dwarf. A great Father of the Fatherland. He deserves an equestrian statue in piazza Venezia.

Ha fatto più la Lega per l’affermazione di Roma Caput Mundi e dell’unità nazionale che ogni altro partito apparso in Italia, a parte il fascismo.

Due milioni, forse tre milioni di persone perderanno entro un anno (e stanno già perdendo) il posto di lavoro.
Two million, or perhaps three million people will lose their jobs within a year (they are already in the process of losing them).

Lo perdono al Nord, dove c’è, è elementare, i disoccupati del Sud non possono perdere quello che non hanno.

The idea of the world exhibition or EXPO, comes from far away. From the 19th century.

Da un’età in cui per spostarsi da Londra a San Francisco ci volevano mesi.
From a time when it took months to journey from London to San Francisco.

E’ nata per permettere alle persone di vedere cose mai viste. Tecnologia, futuro, costruzioni fuori dalla realtà quotidiana.
It came into being so as to allow people to see things never seen before. Technology, future, constructions beyond the reality of every day.

Il mondo, allora, non era a portata di click. Per i trasporti delle merci si usavano i bastimenti, oggi basta il mouse.
At that time, the world was not within the reach of a click. To transport the merchandise they used ships, today it’s enough to have a mouse.

L’Italia ha avuto la sfortuna di vincere l’EXPO 2015 con Milano.
Italy has had the misfortune to win EXPO 2015 in Milan.

La lista è lunghissima, ma quanti sono i mantenuti foraggiati dalle nostre tasse.
The list is really long, but how many are there who are fed and watered from our taxes?

La libertà di esprimere l’opinione dei loro editori è possibile grazie ai contributi dell’operaio o della pensionata.
The liberty to express the opinion of their editors is possible thanks to the taxes of the labourers and the pensioners.

Epifani legge il blog. E’ certo.

Dopo una lettura attenta dei miei articoli sulla disoccupazione di massa prossima ventura (due milioni di nuovi disoccupati) ha detto :
After having carefully read my articles regarding the fast approaching spate of mass unemployment (two million newly unemployed people) he said :

“Dalla ricognizione fatta posso dire che sta arrivando una valanga, servono grandi interventi”.
“After careful investigation I can say that an avalanche is on its way here. What we need are some major interventions”.

Li sentite gli zoccoli dei bisonti? Stanno calpestando la prateria del Nord Italia. Da Ovest a Est.
Do you hear the sound of bison hooves approaching? They are trampling the prairies of Northern Italy. From West to East.
